Dried Pears
Dried pears are obtained from ripened pears from which the majority of the original water content has been removed naturally, through sun drying. The farmer cut the pears into pieces and spread them on the sheet out in the sun. It is necessary to take care that it is not out during the rainfall and that it must be regularly monitored to keep it free from moisture. Dried pears are then gathered and stored for sale in a bag. The direct market for this product is unorganized due to which farmers are compelled to sell at cheaper rates.
